NASHVILLE – Just announced today, following a mandatory company-wide meeting, DSMs will now be required to promote the new “Student Manager Club” sales award. Originally suggested during a feedback meeting last Checkout by first year Missouri Tech Sophomore Alan Morris who almost finished with 1,000 units his first summer, Student Manager Club award requires that dealers sell a minimum of 200 units a week twice during the summer. All winners will receive an engraved 24k gold plaque with a professionally shot picture of the Dealer in front of the customer’s house where they surpassed the sales goal.
The announcement has come with mixed reactions from DSMs, students, and employees throughout the company.
Alan Morris, who originally suggested the idea in passing: “That’s awesome! If I was selling books again this summer I would probably try to win that at some point.”
