Nashville, TN – After finishing another successful summer, third year dealer Brandon Walsh from Kansas State University has set a new record for longest checkout.
Walsh, an English major entering his Senior year, arrived at Company headquarters near the end of August to help students on his personal eight man team with their paperwork and also to begin his own checkout process. Thirteen days later, Walsh has surpassed the eleven day record previously held by Monique Flores.
Walsh was presented with some commemorative plaques by Cheryl Carr and representatives from the Customer Contact Center and Remittance Office (pictured) in a small recognition ceremony held in the Dealer Services Department. He then added his name to the record books with a telescopic pen.
In a short acceptance speech, Walsh mentioned how he was “so late for school” and how he “really needed to get back to this book count, can we wrap this up?”
